Aim, Rules & Guidelines
The main aim of this group is to have a safe place to share concerns & information for residents of the Belarmine area in Stepaside.
Please do not:
- Post chain letters or SPAM.
- Try to solicit money or publish any get-rich-easy schemes.
- Post any items or images that are pornographic or inappropriate.
- Try to sell items or services that are illegal.
- Do anything that is illegal.
- Post items relating to alleged crimes in action (including videos, pictures, and/or links to similar items published elsewhere). These are not for public sharing and if you believe you have some information relating to or involving a crime, you should share these details with the Garda directly.
- Engage in hate speech, harassment or bullying. Racism, incitement to hatred or ungrounded accusations will not be tolerated. i.e. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
- Share private details of other members of the community that would fall under the remit of GDPR legislation. You may share your own information as you see fit.
REMEMBER to be kind. This group is about community and fun. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.
Prolonged discussions on a single topic that is not of general interest to the whole group should be moved to a private forum to avoid spamming the group.
Being kind and generous to each other is at our core. Inappropriate messages will be removed and senders will be removed from the group. The decisions of the group admins are final and will not be debated in the group. Anyone who does not adhere to the spirit or law of the rules of this group will be removed immediately.
